We had a bunk bed set delivered today, and it was assembled improperly. The upper bunk is supposed to be supported by the entire desk, yet it was installed with only one side of the desk supporting the upper bunk.

If a child were to get on it, it would collapse. Called the driver within minutes of him leaving, no answer. Called customer service, their best answer was "we'll notify the delivery manager". ON top of the unsafe condition in which they assembled the bed, they also put a screw through the wood, cracking it.

Also delivered a chair with a broken wheel. Is there any inspection done on items before they leave the warehouse?

Several hours and several phone calls later, still no answer as to when it will be fixed!! RTG managers, look at the pictures, would you want YOUR child to get on the upper bunk??

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I liked: Variety of products to choose from.

I didn't like: Quality of install or assembly, Items being delivered that were already broken or damaged, Delivery person damaging brand new item, Lack of knowledge of product being delivered by delivery driver.

We have the same problem, however they just left everything scattered all over the kids rooms and said it would be two weeks before a specialist could come and fix it. Beyond pissed....
